Prior to partnering with CBC in early 2020, Stivers Ford was already a well-run dealership, consistently ranked 4th or 5th in Alabama. However, they struggled to gain market share from the biggest Ford dealers in the state. Stivers CDJR was a recently-acquired, under-performing dealership that was struggling to become #1 in just its own metro area.
Immediately upon partnering with Stivers Automotive Group, CBC Automotive Marketing began auditing their marketing with a custom, data-driven approach. We also installed our proprietary In-store Media Habits Research group-wide, which has continued to be utilized daily in their stores. This combination yielded a 100% customized plan to effectively penetrate the market by targeting in-market car buyers and prospects who would be receptive to Stivers’s message of aggressive pricing combined with top customer service.
With a data-driven mix of digital and traditional marketing supported by strong video, audio and graphical creative, a potential customer sees and hears spirally-integrated Stivers messaging wherever they are in their buying journey.
Through the hard daily work of the Stivers teams, combined with their customized marketing plan, the stores in the Stivers Automotive Group soon began increasing their market share, which has continued incrementally ever since. For Stivers Ford and Stivers CDJR, it’s increased to the point where in March 2022, Stivers Ford was the #1 volume Ford dealer in Alabama and Stivers CDJR was the #1 volume new Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer in Alabama!
