Our History

CBC was built from the ground up by John Pulsifer, a legendary dealer in New England, and Jim Boldebook a local radio station employee. Jim saw a path for them where the right marketing could take Jolly John's dealership to new heights. And it did.

As the marketing landscape changed, and the dawn of the digital age glimmered on the horizon, CBC continued to execute strategies that worked. Whether it was advertising on radio, tv, and, yes, eventually the internet, CBC's focus on helping dealerships grow to new levels never wavered. But, just as CBC and their dealerships grew, so did the manufacturers, and their desire for control. Support funds were gatekept behind preferred vendor contracts with agencies certified to follow the Manufacturer's rules.

This left CBC with a choice. We knew that as a big-box agency, we wouldn't be able to deliver the level of service our clients deserve. So, we chose to follow our path: prioritizing strategy, creative excellence, and personalized service over Detroit mandates. We believed it would take us, and our clients further. And it has.
