Congratulations to Mark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Lake Charles, Louisiana – the #1 volume combined Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealer in the United States for all of 2022! They also finished tied for #1 Ram Dealer in the US!
That Mark DCJR is located in just the 173rd-largest media DMA in the country makes this achievement even more impressive.
Mark DCJR joins Galpin Ford (x 15), Tasca Lincoln-Mercury (x 3), Brandon Ford (x 2) and Carslile Lincoln-Mercury on CBC’s historical list of #1 new-vehicle volume Dealers in the United States.
How did they do it? The lion’s share is thanks to a lot of hard work day in and day out by the Team at Mark DCJR. CBC Automotive Marketing and Mark DCJR have worked together successfully for 27 years, but a few years ago Mark DCJR set out to chart a new course, with an emphasis on volume and market share.
To do this correctly, a complete strategy shake-up from the ground up was needed. First, we helped Mark DCJR reorganize their own internal dealership operations to better align with a volume KPI and to be ready for an influx of additional traffic. Then we began a robust dive into their entire marketing budget – not just our own marketing but their entire ecosystem of vendors and factory marketing, too. This dive was comprehensive and completely customized – the kind of dive only a nimble, boutique automotive marketing agency can provide. It covered items such as ROI on investment for both traditional marketing and digital marketing, strategic creative alignment and much more. Our long history of doing daily Media Habits Research in Mark’s showroom also proved invaluable in this exercise.
With the combination of an internal reorganization in the dealership and a refreshed marketing strategy (which we’ve continue to reevaluate nearly daily), the results speak for themselves as Mark DCJR continues to grow and outpace their competition.
