Summary of Position:

The Agency Specialist is an entry-level position within CBC that supports all agency departments. The Agency Specialist supports all aspects of agency needs and will develop a general knowledge of agency duties, process and responsibilities.  Through this developmental process, CBC managers will observe Agency Specialist performance and development and, eventually, move the Agency Specialist into a career-track position within the company based on ability and drive.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate client-related documents
  • Submit agency-created assets for manufacturer pre-approval
  • Research and summarize information needs for agency account managers and department heads
  • Provide light creative assistance
  • Help “fill in the cracks” as an available set of hands that can be deployed anywhere within the company


Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Familiarity of marketing and advertising best-practices (through schooling or on-the-job experience)
  • A can-do attitude and a desire to set out on a successful career track.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is not required for this role, though any background or interest with the industry is a plus.
  • Agency experience is also preferred but not required.
  • Applicants are expected to possess a college degree in marketing, communication, advertising, new media or a similar field of study.


Work Environment:

  • Location:
    • This entry level position begins as a 100% work-in-office position.
      • Over time, the successful Agency Specialist be allowed to work from home a percentage of the time.
    • Physical Demands:
      • Lifting: 0-25 lbs
      • Frequency of lifting: infrequent
      • Typical business day: 8:30am-5pm
    • Additional Physical Demands
      • Ability to speak and listen on a telephone
      • Ability to type, and view a computer screen
      • Ability to bend and sort paperwork in a filing cabinet.
    • Visual, Hearing, Dexterity & Mental Demands
      • Adequate to perform the essential functions of the job such as using a telephone, answering emails, filing paperwork, viewing a computer screen, and operating office equipment.
